We attempt to condense specific moments into inventions of autonomous, cocooned systems. ~ in the fields is a collaborative partnership between artists Nicole Heidtke and Stefan Baumberger and was founded in Edinburgh, 2005 with a former exchange about art-concepts since 1999. Our work is based on research into natural phenomena: the growth of plants, the metamorphosis of creatures and ecological issues. We realise interactive computer-supported augmented environments, installations, artefacts & light objects. Our working method is interdisciplinary.
